Behind the High Altar are

Looking back along the nave
one can see the organ loft surmounted by the beautiful large rose
window with its splendid stained glass, featuring the Blessed Virgin. |

|
The south transept is adorned
by a statue of St Philip Neri the former patron saint of the church.
There is a window featuring scenes of the saint's life behind the
altar. At the west end of the cathedral the spacious baptistry leads
off the south aisle.

Also noteworthy is the chapel
of St Wilfrid, seventh century archbishop of York, honoured for his
association with Sussex . The chapel acts also as a memorial for those
of the Arundel area who died for their country in the two world wars. |
